 Online course: “Enhancing the European home healthcare professionals’ competencies”
Within the European Project COACH BOT "Modular e-course with Virtual Coach tools support" the project consortium is placed to announce the opening of registrations to the pilot training course for home healthcare workers. The course is entirely in English language and free of charge.
The course are implemented simultaneously in 6 European Countries (Italy, Denmark, United Kingdom, Romania, Slovenia and Switzerland).
In each country are arranged two classes of around 10 and 15 students, for a total of 25 students per country.
The course will last 40 hours on average (depending on the specific job profiles and training needs of each learner) and it will be available in about 3 months.
The beginning of the course is planned for March 2010.
Who should apply
Course participants should:
- be home healthcare professionals
- be over 18 years old
- know the English language
- be able to use a personal computer and have access to the internet connection
Main course contents
The course "Enhancing the European home healthcare professionals' competencies" focuses on four main home healthcare areas of intervention:
- Medical issues
- Psychological issues
- National/EU legislation
- Social and ethical aspects
